Jersey Boys – Band, Musical or Movie?

Jersey Boys is the name many of us have heard since many years however, majority of us are not sure what exactly defines the Jersey Boys. Some of us would answer that Jersey Boys is a popular and one of the longest running musicals of Broadway theatres. Whereas some of us will be of the opinion that it is another name for a well known rock n roll musical group from the 1960s, The Four Seasons. Many of us would also say that Jersey Boys is a movie which just been released in the year 2014.

In fact all of us are right, whether it is a Rock n’ Roll band, a Broadway musical or a movie, it’s all the same. It all began with the formation of a Rock n Roll band which initially could not get that famous however in the 60s, this group got great appreciation and topped many music charts around the world. The name of this awe-inspiring musical band was also inducted in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame during 70s. As a result of the immense fame of this music band, a musical was introduced, which narrated the real story of these four guys who formed the Jersey Boys band.

As soon as the musical hit the theatres, it became a massive success and all its shows were pre-booked and sold out events. Large crowds came to attend the Jersey Boys musical at the Broadway theatres across the America and Europe. It is known as one of the most popular and longest running musicals ever seen on the theatres. Since there was no doubt about the fame and popularity of Jersey Boys, Clint Eastwood decided to direct a movie along with executive producers including Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Brett Ratner, Tim Moore and James Packer.
